As a Canadian, hockey was embedded deeply in my psyche at a young age. Because I am a female Gen-X’er though, I didn’t start playing the sport until I was well into adulthood. But now I am fully obsessed with hockey, hockey culture and language. Yes, you read that right, there is hockey language – just ask a Canadian about what it means to “make a couple a dangles, cradle the biscuit, toey, snipe, bardownsky and celly!”
And what better way to share my passion for hockey and create conversation than with a podcast! You can listen to some episodes here:
